Please note: Sponsorship applications are reviewed for alignment with our mission and values. Submission does not guarantee placement. Final decisions rest with Zero Waste USA.

Before You Start

You’ll need:

  • High-resolution logo (transparent PNG preferred, ~500×500px minimum)
  • Business description (1-2 concise paragraphs)
  • Social media links and website URL
  • Optional: Banner image, brochure PDF, promotional video link

Guidelines

Contact Information
Your contact details (phone, email) are for internal use only and will not be displayed publicly.

Logo
Provide high-resolution files (larger is better—we’ll resize as needed). Logos typically appear centered in a white circle over banners.

Banner Image
Optional. Final display size is 1200×250px—maintain this 4.8:1 aspect ratio. We can provide a template on request. If no banner is submitted, a default nature image will be used. Avoid text or logos in banners; your logo already features prominently on your sponsor page.

Description & Tagline
Keep descriptions concise (1-2 paragraphs). If no tagline is provided, we’ll use the opening words of your description.

Additional Materials

  • Brochure: PDF format, max 20MB
  • Links: Website, social media, promotional youtube video

File naming conventions: Include sponsor name and content type in your file names:

  • Help us find your content again with good naming just in case a file mistakenly gets unlinked.

Links
Use clean, direct URLs including https://. Copy links directly from the source platform, not through intermediaries like Facebook or email. For example, use https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1234567abcd not a redirect URL with extra parameters.

Editing Rights
Zero Waste USA may adjust submitted materials to optimize presentation (e.g., resizing images for bandwidth or visibility).

Next Steps
Once approved and processed, you’ll receive an invoice with our 2026 W-9 attached (also available on our website sometime after January 1, 2026).

Sponsor Authorize and Endorse*
This is technically an application for your person or organization to sponsor and endorse our organization. We view this as an application. It requires us to review how your organization aligns with our goals and purpose, etc.
