From the first TRUE Certified basketball game hosted by the Atlanta Hawks to Eco Education with Bright Beat, zero waste initiatives have infiltrated and taken over the event scene following the COVID-19 pandemic. Thinking about various types of events has made us think outside the box when it comes to evaluating waste or environmental impact, but sustainable office meetings, school trips, sporting events and more are bringing new excitement to zero waste spaces.
