Moving a community toward Zero Waste requires adopting policies, programs, and infrastructure. However, many communities do not have the staff capacity and budget to plan for and implement Zero Waste. As best practices emerge, why should every city or town have to figure it all out by themselves? Join this session for a deep dive into two model statewide Zero Waste support programs. Designed to promote best practices, offer resources and technical assistance, and provide funding to communities, these state programs are removing persistent barriers for cities and towns and helping communities move toward Zero Waste.
