Rebecca has been in the environmental and sustainability industry for over 37 years with diverse experience in the public and private sector in Consulting, Environmental Management, EHS, Waste Management, Community Funding, Recycling, Waste Reduction, and Sustainability Policy.
She is the Sustainability Operations Manager and TRUE Advisor for Best Buy, Inc. Her company is the industry leader in take back and recycling and is focused on conserving natural resources, reducing waste in our operations, designing, and selling products that are more sustainable, and sourcing our energy from renewable sources. In her position, she works on how to increase and optimize their commodity recycling, increase waste diversion, promote circular economy efforts, and zero waste certification. She is based in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota and has a BA in Science, Minor in Mathematics, and a Mini MBA in Finance.
She has volunteered on numerous boards, is very passionate about the environment and loves the outdoors, traveling, entertaining and spending time with family and friends.
