Jason entered the Zero Waste arena as the co-founder of the Destination Zero program offered through Ingenium. The program is a consultative partnership that customizes diversion strategies and validates metrics to deliver effective solutions towards attaining zero waste targets and TRUE certification. Throughout his journey thus far, Jason has worked closely with University Hospitals, Biopharmaceuticals, Analytical Labs, Automotive, and Aerospace organizations in their pursuit of Zero Waste.

Jason joined Ingenium a year-and-a-half after its doors opened. After a year learning the hazardous waste industry, Jason moved into a full-time business development position and renamed the department – Innovation. Since then, he has led the Innovation department as its director for over a decade and is responsible for program development, vendor relationships, sales solutions, and an overall strategic contributor. Jason has also been instrumental with out-of-the-box solutions for clients seeking innovation surrounding challenging waste streams.

A self-proclaimed data geek and techie, Jason loves to learn about the new technologies, facilities, and approaches to waste reduction and beneficial reuse. In his spare time, he dedicates everything to his eleven-year-old clone, and enjoys music, concerts, sporting events, video games, movies, and streaming networks. Originally from New York, now Texan, via a 20-year stint in San Diego, Jason spends extensive time traveling to the East coast where his family and girlfriend reside. Jason received a Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
