Erin McNichol

Erin McNichol has over 10 years of experience in the sustainability industry. As Global Sustainability Program Manager at HP she is responsible for embedding sustainability throughout their 200 global facilities, ensuring that sustainability efforts enhance business performance and are communicated and engage employees. HP’s facilities program covers the 5 pillars of energy, waste, water, employee engagement, and smart buildings and has the corresponding goals:

 -Reduce scope 1 and 2 emissions by 60% by 2025
 -Use 100% renewable electricity in our global operations by 2035
 -Reduce potable water consumption by 15% by 2025
 -Achieve 92% waste diversion globally

Before joining HP, Erin worked for the Environmental Defense Fund on energy efficiency programs in the State of New Jersey, managing sustainability programs at the County of San Mateo and as a zero waste coordinator for Recology.

Erin completed her MBA in Sustainable Management at Presidio Graduate School and holds a B.A. from U.C Davis in International Relations, U.S. History and Environmental Policy and Planning.

In her free time, Erin loves traveling, politics, rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles and spending time with her fiancé (mostly planning their wedding at the moment).
