Susan Green is a Sr. Sourcing Manager at Piper Aircraft, Inc., in Vero Beach, Florida. She has more than 25 years of experience in project management and execution, process improvement, generating cost savings, contracts negotiation, and customer service with a strong background in sales management and data analytics. Before joining Piper, Susan was Branch Manager and Recruiter for Griffin Services and later progressed to Market Manager for Precision Fabrics Group, Inc. in Greensboro, NC, managing the Impression Fabrics Market. In her current role as Sr. Sourcing Manager, Susan is responsible for negotiating company contracts for both production and non-production goods and services, identifying process and quality improvement opportunities, developing business cases to support those projects, and working with relevant organizations to implement continuous improvement initiatives. She is an active member of Piper’s environmental green team, internal audit team, and community outreach committee.
Ms. Green holds an MBA from Nova Southeastern University, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and a BS in Business Administration & Economics from Greensboro College in Greensboro, North Carolina. She is an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, a licensed Human Subjects Researcher, and was a certified ISO 9001 Internal Auditor.
