Laurent Canneva is Co-Founder & CEO of Spare-it, a Boston-based Waste Intelligence company transforming how organizations measure, report, and reduce waste.
Before founding Spare-it, Laurent spent two decades leading international sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical industry, helping bring innovative therapies to patients worldwide. A Doctor of Pharmacy with an MBA from ESSEC Business School in Paris, he built a global career at the intersection of science, strategy, and commercial growth.
In 2014, driven by a desire to spend the next 20 years focusing on planet health, Laurent launched Spare-it to prove that environmental impact and business success can go hand in hand. His leadership is defined by creativity, resilience, and a deep focus on building a world-class team, the foundation he believes is key to lasting success.
Outside of work, Laurent finds inspiration in nature and adventure. He’s a proud husband and father of four, and an avid kite-surfer, cyclist, runner, and ice hockey player, always chasing wind, waves, and purpose.
