About Jennifer

Jennifer Wendt is a chemist and environmental advocate specializing in plastic pollution and sustainability. With a degree in chemistry focused on environmental pollutants, she began her career analyzing organic contaminants in environmental compliance laboratories. This scientific foundation gave her deep expertise in the chemical reactions and breakdown processes of plastics in ecosystems and the human body.
Jennifer later transitioned into municipal government, where she implemented sustainable solutions to reduce waste, improve energy efficiency, and enhance water quality. Over time, her work became increasingly focused on tackling plastic pollution, streamlining local initiatives to address one of the most pressing environmental challenges of our time.
Today, Jennifer leads efforts to reduce plastic use and pollution across Middle America, while also contributing to national and international advocacy and policy development. Her unique blend of scientific knowledge and practical experience drives impactful solutions at both the community and policy levels.
