Erin Ash
About Erin
Motivated by the urgent need to address wasted food and hunger, Erin Ash joined the Spoonfuls team in 2025, bringing with her a background in environmental justice and public health. She began her nonprofit career in Addiction Medicine at Boston Medical Center, later earning a Master’s in Public Health from Boston University. Erin has experience in operations, consulting, and nonprofit leadership in the climate and energy industries. At Spoonfuls, Erin leads the food recovery program where over 140,000 lbs. of food are recovered and distributed each week. Erin holds an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Georgetown University and is passionate about the intersection of food access, environmental justice, and waste reduction.
