Shane Trimmer is a Senior Policy Advisor for United States Representative Alan Lowenthal, covering policy issue areas around energy, environment, natural resources, science, technology, as well as elections and voting rights. Before joining Congressman Lowenthal’s office, Shane had worked as legislative staff for Representative Jared Huffman and in the California State Capitol for, then Assemblymember, Kevin de León.
Shane is originally from Northern California. He holds a Master’s in Political Management from George Washington University, a Master’s in Public Administration from National University, as well as a Bachelor’s in Political Science from the University of California at Davis.
