On the journey to Zero Waste, it is critical to understand the entire supply chain’s materials, financials, operations, legal requirements and real life barriers. This panel will provide perspectives from a supplier, reprocessor and food manufacture.  These dynamic women will showcase what it takes to engage your supply chain, developing markets, and valuing all of our resources. In our drive to create a circular, closed loop, Zero Waste economy, its important to work on progress versus perfection.  Some times the little steps are the most meaningful to gain traction, show your ecosystem it can be done and create financial benefits for all!

Upcycling stands as a burgeoning force in food innovation, ingeniously repurposing ingredients that might otherwise end up in overflowing landfills. This practice not only champions environmental sustainability, countering the detrimental effects of waste on greenhouse gas emissions but also yields nutritionally rich materials. The transformation of discarded ingredients into nutrient-dense delights isn’t merely a step towards preserving our planet; it could serve as a potent solution to prevalent nutritional deficiencies.
