October 3, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Speaker: Moderator: Kirstie Pecci • Atiq Zaman, Elizabeth Balkan, Nena Shaw

In recent years, the circular economy has risen to prominence as a move away from the linear take-make-dispose economy. This session will explore how a circular economy and Zero Waste intersect and what standards and definitions are helping to define those roles. New technically oriented ISO standards adopted for a circular economy highlight the need for a broader view of a circular economy that includes the values, definition, and principles of Zero Waste.

Moderator: Kirstie Pecci, Executive Director, Just Zero
