In recent years, the circular economy has risen to prominence as a move away from the linear take-make-dispose economy. This session will explore how a circular economy and Zero Waste intersect and what standards and definitions are helping to define those roles. New technically oriented ISO standards adopted for a circular economy highlight the need for a broader view of a circular economy that includes the values, definition, and principles of Zero Waste.
