PaintCare is the nonprofit organization that plans and operates paint stewardship programs on behalf of paint manufacturers in states that pass the paint stewardship law. PaintCare currently operates programs in 9 states and the District of Columbia, with an 11th program coming to New York in May 2022. To date, PaintCare has collected over 50 million gallons of post-consumer (leftover) paint and operates more than 2,000 drop-off sites across the country.
