Nicole Kenney is the Senior Sustainability Manager for LifeLabs Design, Inc., a textile technology and apparel company that enables people to reduce their personal energy use through clothing. She serves as an executive committee member on the Prevention, Repair and Reuse Technical Council of CRRA (California Resource Recovery Association). She is an active member of the California Chapter of the AATCC (American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists) and she graduated from the Textile Science program at the University of California, Davis.
With over 15 years of experience in the textile industry, Nicole has continued to utilize her background in fabric, trim, and packaging development to reduce waste and advance the progress of preferred materials. By focusing her work on material circularity, Nicole has been able to research and manage projects to support a range of issues including mechanical and chemical textile recycling, fiber release testing, and responsible chemicals management.
Nicole’s main professional goal is to unlock innovative end of life solutions for apparel products that close the loop on textile-to-textile recycling.
