Nicole Kenney is a Program Manager of Sustainable Packaging for Cisco Systems. She currently serves as an Executive Committee member on the Prevention, Repair and Reuse Technical Council of CRRA (California Resource Recovery Association). She is also an active member in the California Chapter of the AATCC (American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists). She graduated from the Textile Science program at the University of California, Davis.
With over 15 years of experience in the textile and packaging industry, Nicole has held roles in product line management, technical materials sourcing, and PLM systems implementation. She has continued to utilize her background in fabric, trim, and packaging development to reduce waste and advance the progress of preferred materials. By focusing her work on material circularity, Nicole has been able to research and manage projects to support a range of sustainability issues including mechanical and chemical textile recycling, fiber release testing, and responsible chemicals management.
Nicole’s main professional goal is to shift industry towards circular economy through scalable closed-loop materials innovation.
