Natalie is behavior change specialist with over a decade of experience planning and implementing sustainability programs in communities throughout California. She is the Founder of ReCREATE Waste Collaborative LLC and leads the firm’s education and outreach projects, helping municipal, nonprofit and private clients maximize diversion and plan for compliance with SB 1383, AB 341 and AB 1826. Her specialty lies in engaging communities and stakeholders to achieve California legislative requirements through policy and program development. She is deeply interested in engaging Community-Based Social Marketing principles in pilot projects and other municipal programs and enjoys working directly with the community to create shifts in perception and culture regarding zero waste. In her free time she is an active volunteer with Surfrider Foundation, yogi and dog mom to a German Shepard named Jazz.
