Dr. Afsharmanesh is the Sustainability Leader in implementing and spearheading a comprehensive climate-positive program that led Earth Friendly Products to became Climate Positive and Zero Waste Platinum certificated at all four U.S. based facilities.

Earth Friendly Products diverts over 95% of its waste from landfills through recycling and reuse. This successful program has been translated to over $400,000 of savings. In 2016 Earth Friendly Products achieved water neutrality, creating the rare “trifecta” of sustainable manufacturing.

Dr. Afsharmanesh develops policies and strategic plans that encompass current and long-term environmental initiatives that move the company towards the next step to a more environmentally sustainable future. She leads, evaluates, and develops sustainability programs that monitor and assess relevant strategies towards achieving desired goals at all appropriate organizational levels related to energy, waste, carbon emissions, green manufacturing, and other areas of sustainable development.
