As Senior Community Engagement Manager for the League to Save Lake Tahoe, Marilee fosters an informed and engaged community of residents and visitors to protect Lake Tahoe. She oversees the League’s volunteer and citizen science programs, cultivates local partnerships, organizes the League’s community events, and leads the design for a wide range of educational materials. Under Marilee’s leadership, the League’s community cleanup efforts have removed over 100,000 pounds of litter from the Tahoe environment and provided thousands of volunteers a direct, hands-on way to Keep Tahoe Blue. Marilee has a deep passion for environmental causes, which she brings to the League from her home in Orange County, California.
