Maddy Gawler

Maddy Gawler is the Senior Specialist, Sustainability & Continuous Improvement at The J.M. Smucker Company. She joined the Company through the Hostess acquisition in 2023 and in her current role she is focused on overseeing operations strategy relating to water, natural gas and electricity utilization. In this role she works with operations sites across the organization to identify optimization efforts and action on them through technological solutions and process improvements. As part of this work, Maddy oversees the Company’s commitment to achieving TRUE certification at all production sites by 2030. Prior to joining Hostess, Maddy served as an impact strategist and held consultant roles focused on sustainability strategy and energy efficiency consulting. Maddy is inspired by a passion for driving sustainable solutions that benefit the planet while also supporting the operational efficiency of the organizations she supports.
