I have 13 years of Sustainability experience and am currently the Director of Global Sustainability at KnowBe4, where I manage the organization’s global sustainability programs across 12 countries. This includes our net zero carbon and zero waste goals, our employee sustainability training, our green team (called EarthBe4), and several outreach and engagement programs. Previously I served as Assistant to the City Manager at the City of Dunedin, where among other things, I managed the Sustainability program. Inspired by my lifelong passion for environmental conservation, I became a LEED AP in 2009, and received my MBA in Sustainability in 2011. While at the City of Dunedin, I authored and subsequently reengineered the first green building code, I was the staff lead on several green building projects, and was responsible for setting increasingly ambitious energy goals, including committing both to Sierra Club’s Ready For 100 (100% clean energy by 2035), and to uphold the Paris Climate Agreement goals. As a certified TRUE (Total Resource Use and Efficiency) Advisor, I am trained in zero waste management to help organizations meet waste goals and cut their carbon footprint. I also possess the following additional certifications: Envision Sustainability Professional (for green infrastructure), Green Globes Professional (for green building), and Green Classroom Professional.
