Kim joined the Nebraska Recycling Council in July of 2024. She comes to us with a background in natural resources focusing on environmental education. Kim holds a doctoral degree in natural resources from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, a master’s degree in forestry and a bachelor’s degree in wildlife, fisheries, and aquaculture, both from Mississippi State University. Her interests lie at the nexus of environment, education, and environmental social justice, where she is dedicated to promoting sustainable practices, raising awareness about environmental issues, and advocating for equitable access to environmental resources and education for all communities. Kim is responsible for overseeing its strategic direction, operations, and overall management at NRC. Kim is an avid outdoor enthusiast. In her free time, she enjoys a variety of activities such as gardening, archery, and hiking, among many others
