Ignas Bolsakovas

Ignas has been working on environmental technology projects and startups for over 6 years. In 2018 he co-founded Homely Energy – a smart thermostat company for electric heating. The company was acquired by Evergreen Energy in 2020. Ignas set his target on tackling another biggest issue in climate change – plastic pollution and the lifecycle of single-use plastics, and that’s how FoodWare was born. Through these years, his mission remained the same – to inspire and show people that more sustainable and environmentally friendly alternatives exist – whether a modern residential home heating system or reusable food packing – to change the consumer mindset and drive positive change towards a greener and more sustainable planet.
