Daniela Ochoa

Daniela is a trilingual inspiring purpose-driven leader. She has over 14 years of expertise in advancing systemic change for the circular economy through innovative cross-sector partnerships to advance zero waste policy, programs, and solutions locally throughout North America and Latin America. Her expertise has been in food waste reduction, composting, and soil regeneration as key solutions for Earth Stewardship, Environmental Justice, and Climate Action. Since she moved to the Washington D.C. area in late 2015, she has been an avid researcher and propeller of zero waste throughout the Chesapeake Bay area. She has served in the DC Chapter of the Sierra Club since 2021 and has actively participated in their Zero Waste subcommittee and the DC Food Recovery working group since 2018.
