WasteCap Resource Solutions is an environmental non-profit dedicated to turning waste into resources. Founded in 1996, WasteCap assists organizations in their Zero Waste journey, providing solutions and oversight for construction & demolition teams seeking to increase their material reuse and waste diversion efforts.
Daniel Hartsig joined WasteCap Resource Solutions in 2017 as the Director of Project Management and took over as Executive Director in 2020. When Daniel joined WasteCap, he brought over a decade of experience in sustainable building design, construction and business operations around the world. Daniel now focuses on guiding local facility and construction managers through waste reduction efforts by providing analysis, tracking, reporting and recognition through Zero Waste certifications.
