The Center for Zero Waste Design was created to share knowledge and adapt the strategies from the Zero Waste Design Guidelines, developed in NYC, to the context of other cities. It works to expand the database of case studies and develop research, policy and pilots to facilitate local circular resource loops. The Center consults with design teams, community organizations and municipalities to integrate best practices for zero waste into programming and design of buildings, districts and the public realm.
