Adrian Hernandez

Adrian Hernandez boasts a diverse career path. He began in retail brand development, multi-unit operations, and licensing for a multinational tea company. Afterwards, he forayed into the world of technology serving as the Director of Business Development for Global Tech Group before his entrepreneurial spirit led him to found The Drink Station, a tea and coffee retail and wholesale operation operating 3 cafe locations in the Houston area and supplying wholesale tea and coffee products to dozens of retailers throughout the US.

In 2018, Adrian shifted focus to public service, becoming a City Councilmember for Pearland, Texas (2018-2024). His leadership extended beyond city limits as he served as Former President of the Brazoria County Cities Association and Former Chair of the Houston-Galveston Area Council Solid Waste Management Committee. Nationally, Adrian championed environmental causes as Former Chair of the National League of Cities First Tier Suburbs Council and Former Vice-Chair of the National League of Cities Energy, Environment and Natural Resources Federal Advocacy Committee.

Adrian’s passion for environmental stewardship is evident in his current roles. He serves on the Board of Keep Texas Beautiful and is the CEO of Keep Pearland Beautiful. Additionally, he holds the positions of Chairman and Acting Executive Director for the State of Texas Alliance for Recycling.
Adrian holds a Master of Science degree from Texas A&M University.
