Patricia Lloyd

Patty has almost 20 years in the construction industry and more than 15 years of experience advancing sustainability in the built environment. She is an advocate for green building, and healthy-high performing construction both within her firm and in the industry at large. This experience is compiled of extensive project work on healthy-high performing projects and years of involvement in the green building movement at large. As a construction professional fluent in sustainability, she provides direction to owners, colleagues and subcontractors in planning and execution of healthy, high-performing projects and other sustainability services. She has served on numerous boards and organizations to advance green building and sustainable construction. She sits on the USGBC Materials & Resources Technical Advisory Group (MR TAG) and is the facilitator of the Chicago Living Future Collaborative.

Patty has been a long-time volunteer for Illinois Green Alliance, a USGBC community. This included a 5-year term on the board of directors, in which she served as board chair in 2018. She currently sits on the Standing Programs committee for Illinois Green, helping to provide meaningful educational opportunities for IGA members. In addition to this, she sits on the steering committee of Building Green’s Sustainable Construction Leaders network and founded the Chicago Sustainable Construction Leaders group.
She has served on numerous task forces over the last year , including the US Department of Energy Embodied Carbon and Net Zero Building Task Force, the City of Chicago Decarbonization Task Force, and the AGC Climate Change Technologies and Programs Task Force. She holds several credentials, including LEED Fellow, WELL AP, and LFA as well as a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management from Columbia Southern University. She is a graduate student in the University of Wisconsin’s Master of Science Sustainable Management program.
