Leah Tischler

Leah Tischler is the Global Sustainability Manager for CBRE on a pharmaceutical life science account. After graduating From Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, she started her career in the Waste Industry with the County of Kauai’s solid waste department. After working in local government, for private waste hauler, and for a corporate client designing and implementing large scale waste reduction and circular economy initiatives, she has pivoted to sustainability within the operations and maintenance of existing buildings, driving interdisciplinary sustainability projects. As the 2021 winner of Waste Dives 40 under 40 award, Leah is always enthusiastic about the road to zero waste and finding solutions that fits the client’s needs.
