According to the United Nation Food and Agriculture Organization, if wasted food was a country, it would be the third highest emitter of greenhouse gas emissions after the U.S. and China. In this session we will focus on community-based solutions for reducing wasted food, recovering surplus food for human consumption, and diverting food scraps from landfills and incinerators.
