Sean Potts leads the Composting and Food Waste Reduction Cooperative Agreement Program for the Office of Urban Agriculture and Innovative Production. Sean was bit by the agriculture bug while serving as a PCV in Cameroon from 2015-2018 and joined USDA in 2021 after finishing grad school in DC. A permaculture enthusiast, Sean lives with his wife and cats in rural VA where he can usually be found in the garden or the woods.
