Clytie Binder

Clytie Binder is a Waste Educator with Brisbane City Council, encouraging schools, community groups, business and individuals to reduce their waste. She is passionate about sustainability and her background includes establishing a community garden, coordinating professional development conferences for teachers on school gardening, and working as an environmental educator in community, schools and local government settings. In her role at Brisbane City Council Clytie has been working on establishing a network of community composting hubs across the city of Brisbane over the last two years. This award-winning program has been very successful and continues to grow. Clytie presented her refecteions on the program to the Coffs Waste Conference in 2019.
